Day 6

I accidentally deleted Day 6 last night, so I am redoing it here. Left Low Gap Shelter last night and headed to Blue Mountain Shelter. The hike to Blue Mountain was fairly easy. It was still cold, so the water seeps coming out of the m ontain froze into long stretches of icecicles glimmering in the sun. The last stretch of the hike was pretty rocky, so I had to plan each step and take it slow. I have yet to stay in a shelter. Those who have, had mice running over them, falling on their faces and more. I plan on staying out of them if I can help it. I might consider stay in one if severe weather is in the area. The shelters have an open front. The shelters look to be in good shape in Georgia. There was good cell phone reception on Blue Mountain, so I was able to chat/text some friends.
