I woke up this morning and decided not to hike today. I decided to keep the idea of two zeros in Harpers Ferry.
The day was a day mostly filled with resting my body and mind.
Had an early dinner with Miles, Songbird and a guy who bicycled over for the day from Washington DC.
Then in the evening, I was invited by the innkeeper out to hear some live Irish music. The music was played in the back room of Ohurleys General Store in a town about 15 miles away. The general store has been open since 1850. The musicians were top notch and it was great to be there.
I hit the trail again tomorrow morning for sure.

Would have loved to hear the Irish band there with you! You almost could have fit right in with your long beard.

I fit right in with my beard, my fantastic smell and my haggard clothing and my eyes that catch any sighting of food quickly.
