These two days were zeros in Great Barrington, MA. The weather forecast was for two inches of rain each day. And it did rain heavy. I do not mind rain, but the rocks in this area get super slick when wet and to me safety took priority this time.
So I resupplied on trail food. Slept a lot. Did my laundry. Ate a fair amount of town food with other hikers. I even went to see the new Jurassic World movie for something to do.

Sounds like a good two-day break, J. Rain and slippery rocks are no fun… dangerous, as you know! Who needs it?
